Yesterday at the temple, Brother Chappell, whom I have known for many years, told me someone had confused him with me and called him by my name. He thought that was funny. He doesn’t even wear glasses.
Linda called last night to ask how I was. She had been thinking of me. We talked for about half an hour, which was unusual but quite enjoyable. She gave me an update on the family, their new ward, and other things.
Not long before waking up this morning, I had a dream. The Spirit told me that what I want and pray for is not always what the Lord wants for me. I once asked for the gift of finding important things people had lost, but the Lord wants me to help find the lost records of the Lord’s dealings with other nations. He also indicated again that I should get a passport. I woke up thinking about these things and the Spirit I felt. I don’t know what they mean, and dreams are not always clear to me, but the Spirit was present. Recently, as I was reading the scriptures, I was impressed to pray for those who would bring forth lost records. I can start with that. Many church members were excited when President Oaks mentioned in his recent conference talk that the Lord would eventually bring forth the lost records of other nations.
